MapNimbus is the ultimate public web portal. This dynamic web portal's easy-to-use interface allows citizens access to important, relevant local government information. Data is now online and readily available to the public!
Photos include a presentation of MapNimbus to the principals and administration of Wayne County School's. MapNimbus will allow school officials to see what is happening in the area surrounding their school. |

| Champaign Plan Update
GTG is working with Champaign, IL to update their GIS Strategic Plan. The original plan was adopted in late 2007. Since then a majority of the items have been implemented. GIS use is pervasive in the organization and successes abound. Photos include Champaign City Hall, GIS Director Mark Toalson, and a planning meeting utilizing live GIS data. |

Alaska GIS Training
GTG has recently visited the vast and beautiful State of Alaska to provide GIS training to rural local governments. GTG teamed up with the University of Alaska Fairbanks on this project. Over each one-week course, GTG provided traditional classroom training then bundled up and headed out to the tundra for some hands-on, real-world experience using GIS software. |

| The Unalaska Project
After developing a GIS needs assessment and strategic implementation plan for the City of Unalaska, Alaska, GTG was selected to complete a turnkey solution which includes database design, GPS data collection, CAD data conversion, GIS training, ArcGIS Server setup and implementation, and a full suite of ArcGIS-based end-user applications. We look forward to the bright future this small yet bustling rural Alaskan community has to offer! |
